What to see and do
The Sentier des Ocres cuts through the old ochre quarries of Roussillon, between walls of yellow and vivid red. Two loops to choose from, 30 and 50 minutes.
On Sunday mornings the Provençal market and the flea market take over the whole of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Close to 300 antique dealers stay open the rest of the week.
The Palais des Papes takes one to two hours. Right next to it, the pont d’Avignon stops halfway across the Rhône: four of its twenty-two arches are still standing.
Flamingos are there year-round at the Pont-de-Gau bird park, watched from boardwalks out in the Camargue. Horses and bulls live half-wild in the marshes.
Les Baux-de-Provence is a car-free hilltop village you reach on foot. Below it, the Carrières de Lumières projects exhibitions onto the walls of a disused quarry.

Is the Provence Trip Fully Customizable?
Yes. We do not offer a fixed tour. The duration, pace, mode of travel, areas visited, type of accommodation, experiences and restaurants are adapted to your dates, budget and the people traveling with you.
Our sample Provence and Camargue road trip can be used as a starting point, but every proposal is designed around your own travel plans.
What Can You Book for Our Trip to Provence?
Depending on the proposal you approve, we can book accommodation, trains and transfers within France, car rental, sites and monuments, private guides and driver-guides, tastings and selected restaurants.
All included services are clearly listed in your quotation before confirmation. International flights are not included.
Can We See the Lavender Fields During the Trip?
Yes, if your dates match the bloom, generally from mid-June to mid-July depending on the area and the weather. The Valensole plateau and the Luberon are among the best-known places.
If your trip falls outside this period, we shape the itinerary around other facets of Provence, just as striking depending on the season.
How Much Does a Tailor-Made Trip to Provence Cost?
The price depends on the season, number of travelers, duration, accommodation category and included experiences. A stay focused on villages and markets does not require the same budget as a trip with a charming mas, private guides and pre-booked tastings.

Can You Combine Provence with Another Region?
Yes. Provence combines naturally with the Camargue, the French Riviera, the Verdon gorges or Paris connected by train, but it can just as easily slot into a wider journey elsewhere in France: Normandy, the Loire Valley, Alsace or the Basque Country, depending on the time available.
It can be the heart of the trip or simply one stage of it. We organize the order of the stops and the transport to avoid unnecessary detours and connections.
How Far in Advance Should We Contact You?
The earlier you contact us, the wider the choice of accommodation, restaurants and experiences, especially during the lavender bloom and in summer. Early planning is strongly recommended for these busy periods.
We can also consider a request made closer to departure, subject to the availability that remains.
