Paris in 4 Days: Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Montmartre

No. You stay all three nights in the same 4-star hotel, chosen right in the heart of Paris. That is what changes everything: once you are there, no extra journey is needed to reach the centre, and the whole itinerary is done on foot or a few metro stops away. You only unpack once.

Yes, because the guides and the private transfers are shared. Expect €1,950 per person based on 2 travellers, and €1,500 per person based on 4. Three travellers works perfectly well, and above four we prepare a tailored quote. These rates are per person; the “from” price shown is the basis of 4 people.

A private driver meets you at the airport and drops you straight at the hotel, where your travel adviser welcomes you, goes over the programme and hands you your tickets. The first day is deliberately kept light: only the Île de la Cité is on the programme, in the afternoon, and we set the Sainte-Chapelle and Notre-Dame time slots around your actual landing time. The return transfer is timed around your flight on the last day. Both journeys are included in the price.

On three of the four days. On day 2, a guide takes you through the Louvre and then the Musée d’Orsay: they come inside with you and talk you through the works. On days 3 and 4, a guide walks you through the city: the neighbourhoods, the monuments, and the journeys from one site to the next. The first afternoon is yours to explore freely; we can add a guide to it as an option.

Because it is the only day that works. The first day is the airport transfer day: the real landing time is unpredictable and a morning in a museum has no place in it. The last day is the return flight, and a museum that size with a plane to catch always ends in a race against the clock. That leaves the second morning: we set entry between 9 and 10 am, at whichever time you prefer. Any later and there are too many people, and the Mona Lisa is seen over a wall of phones.

From the quay at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, on the evening of day 3: you are already there after going up the tower, so there is no extra journey to plan. The boat is chartered for you alone, with its skipper: no queue, no commentary piped in eight languages, and you pick where you sit. The Eiffel Tower sparkles for 5 minutes every hour on the hour after nightfall; in summer the sun sets around 9:45–10:00 pm, so a 9:00 pm cruise gives you the sunset and then the first sparkle from the water. In winter, night falls early: the cruise leaves earlier and the sparkle comes at the start of the evening.

Yes. The Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Eiffel Tower ascent, Sainte-Chapelle, the cruise and the Notre-Dame time slot are all booked ahead in your name, and your travel adviser hands them to you at the hotel on the first day. We take closing days into account when setting the order of the days: the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays, the Musée d’Orsay on Mondays.

Mostly on foot, with the metro for longer connections such as Montmartre or the Eiffel Tower. You are given a Navigo pass loaded with enough journeys for the stay, so there are no tickets to buy on site. From the hotel, most sights are under 20 minutes away.

Breakfast is included for all three nights. Lunches and dinners are left to you, and that is deliberate: in Paris it is better to keep the choice of table open, depending on your mood and the neighbourhood you are in.

Each day is organised around one main area to limit travel time: the Île de la Cité on the afternoon you arrive, the museums and the Tuileries on the second day, the western side of the city and the cruise on the third, Montmartre on the last morning. The two full days sit in the middle of the stay: the first and last days stay light, because an airport transfer eats more time than people expect. Paris is best explored on foot, so comfortable shoes matter, but the pace stays balanced.
