This route is mapped out to make the absolute most of your time in Provence. The day kicks off in Gordes, starting with that iconic panoramic view over the valley before you explore its charming stone streets. From there, it's on to Sénanque Abbey for a great photo op, or a self-guided visit if it's open.
In the afternoon, it's on to Roussillon. You'll have time to check out the colorful village facades and take a walk through the spectacular Ochre Trail. If time allows, a bonus stop to see the waterwheels at L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is possible before heading back.

Straight to the best viewpoint facing the village. After taking it in, you'll have free time to wander through Gordes' beautiful paved streets.

A stop in the valley by this stunning Cistercian abbey. It's a perfect spot for photos, and if the doors are open, you can head inside for a self-guided tour.

Lunch is not included. Restaurant recommendations can be provided in advance based on what you feel like, such as local, bistro or quick options, and your constraints, including vegetarian preferences, allergies and more. The place and timing can be adjusted as the day unfolds.

In the afternoon, vivid ochre colors take over in Roussillon. You'll have plenty of time to explore the village and walk the trail.

If time allows, a stop to see the charming canals and antique waterwheels of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is possible.

Once the day of exploring wraps up, it’s back to Avignon, with drop-off exactly where the day started.
