Cookie policy
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you browse our website. It allows us to remember your preferences and measure site traffic. This page also covers the information we save in your browser's local storage (localStorage), which is subject to the same rules. We only use the trackers described below: no advertising or targeting cookies are used.
Necessary cookies and storage
These items are essential for the website to function and do not require your consent, because they serve solely to remember your preferences. They cannot be disabled.
- Language cookie (PARAGLIDE_LOCALE, 400 days): remembers the language in which you browse the website.
- Cookie choice (localStorage, about 6 months): stores your decision to accept or decline audience measurement. It is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.
- Contact window (localStorage, 30 days): remembers that our contact window has already been shown to you, so that it is not displayed again.
Analytics cookies (audience measurement)
Audience measurement is carried out by Google Analytics 4. Google Tag Manager is only the tag manager that loads Google Analytics 4: it does not measure anything by itself and sets no measurement cookies. The cookies placed on your device are therefore those of Google Analytics 4 (notably _ga and _ga_*); they help us understand how visitors use the website (pages viewed, browsing paths). They are only loaded after you give your consent and can be disabled at any time.
Performance measurement (cookie-free)
We use Vercel Speed Insights, provided by our host Vercel, to measure page display performance. This tool sets no cookies and uses no identifier that would allow us to recognise you from one visit to the next. It therefore does not require your consent and does not appear in your cookie preferences.
Retention period
Your cookie choice is kept for about 6 months (183 days) in your browser's local storage (localStorage). After this period, or if you clear your browser data, you will be asked for your consent again.
How to manage your choice
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the button below.
Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data. To learn more about how we process your personal data, see our privacy policy, or contact us at itineraryfrance@gmail.com.
