Starting from Avignon, the first stop is the Pont du Gard. You can explore the site at your own pace, take time to check out the viewpoints, and enjoy a short walk by the river. It's a great way to kick off the day with a major historical monument, completely stress-free.

In the afternoon, the focus turns to the Camargue. In Aigues-Mortes, you'll have free time to wander the streets of the fortified town and grab lunch. Can we walk on the ramparts in Aigues-Mortes?

Yes, you can buy a ticket on-site if the monument is open. If you'd rather take it easy, just walking around the old town is already a great way to enjoy the stop.

Are we guaranteed to see flamingos?

It can't be guaranteed 100% since wildlife is unpredictable. But Pont de Gau is one of the best spots in the Camargue to see them, so the chances are usually very good.

Is this tour okay for kids or older travelers?
