François LM.

Cultural explorer & travel writer

Trained in linguistics and driven by a deep curiosity about world cultures, François LM quickly made travel both a place of learning and a source of inspiration. His path led him to live and travel in several European countries, as well as in South Korea and Turkey, where he developed a nuanced understanding of cultural differences, ways of life, and what international travelers look for. It was in Turkey that François particularly refined his writing skills. He collaborated with a French website for which he wrote travel-focused blog articles, combining on-the-ground stories, practical tips, and cultural analysis. This experience helped him develop a clear, accessible writing style focused on guiding the reader, while meeting the expectations of a French-speaking audience curious about travel abroad. After those years outside France, François chose to refocus on his home country. Having lived in many cities in southwestern France, he realized how unknown these areas remain to foreign visitors, often concentrated on Paris and a few iconic destinations. Convinced that France’s richness also lies in its regions, landscapes, local traditions, and art de vivre, he decided to put his international experience to work for this vision. Today, François is committed to showcasing a more authentic, local, and human France. His goal: help international travelers go beyond the beaten path, understand French cultural nuances, and enjoy genuine experiences far from tourist clichés. Through his work, he acts as a bridge between cultures, with special attention to meaning, encounters, and mutual understanding.
