Private Day Trip from Avignon: Pont du Gard, Aigues-Mortes & Camargue from Avignon
I designed this day trip to be as effortless as possible for you. We'll start at the Pont du Gard, head to Aigues-Mortes for lunch and a stroll through the old town, and finish at the Pont de Gau Ornithological Park to take in the Camargue wetlands and, hopefully, spot some flamingos.

About this tour
Starting from Avignon, I'll first drive you to the Pont du Gard. You can explore the site at your own pace, take time to check out the viewpoints, and enjoy a short walk by the river. It's a great way to kick off the day with a major historical monument, completely stress-free.
In the afternoon, we'll focus on the Camargue. In Aigues-Mortes, you'll have free time to wander the streets of the fortified town and grab lunch. Afterward, we'll head to the Pont de Gau Ornithological Park. The walking paths there are flat and easy, perfect for a relaxing stroll to observe the wetlands and local birds.
